A Spooky Night Ahead!
I’m finally waking up from my “30 minute cat nap” where my dreams resembled dogs playing (loudly), my daughters foot in my face, and my son yelling her name over…and over…and over again, and to be honest, I’m completely ready for another one. I have been up as long as the sun has today, chasing kids and dogs, and I’m pretty beat! I knew I had a long list of things to do this morning, so I ran home to get everyone up, but such is life, and now we are prepping for our upcoming Halloween party, and necessary costumes for our entire brood. We order costumes in advance every year from April Prado (Who is the trainer at Camp Bow Wow SLC), at The California Chi, and she NEVER dissapoints! Check in on Monday to see what the kids are up to THIS year, it’s going to be AWESOME!
It’s really important to keep your kids involved and busy, it’s just really important that you do the same with your dogs. I know it’s going to be a long day, and most likely the dogs will be cooped up for a good part of it, so taking this time to have the out, and exercising is only fair. I can’t expect them to have fun being locked away all day and night because of the mischief of the day. So I want to relink in my Howl-O-Ween Safety Tips for tonight this week, because I can’t stress the importance of being safe today, not just for the kiddos, but for your furry kids as well. So take your dog for a walk this afternoon (on a leash ?), set them up a nice safe, chill space in the house, and take those kids out for some good ol’ family Trick-or-Treating fun! Happy Halloween from Tiny Toes and Furry Paws!!!!
